We always think London's a pretty stylish city (but w're biased, so we would say that), but when September hits, it's London Fashion Week, and therefore also London F*ck-It Week when it comes to street style (in the best way possible, obviously). Clothes on London's concrete get daring, crazy and streets become a neverending conveyor belt of head-turning style. So we’ve been glued to Instagram this week scoping out how London faired for street style this LFW – and even though New York was a tough act to follow, we are seriously impressed. Here are a few of our favourites:
1. @agnes_krejza
By rocking it off the shoulder, @agnes_krejza made a classic band tee current. Paired with colour-block boyfriend jeans and creepers, she looks dressed down but not underdressed.
2. @31apartment
We wish we could look this effortless in straight wide-leg jeans, red striped shirt and leather jacket. Plus those gold Gucci loafers definitely push this outfit from a 9 to a ten.
3. @alexachung
Alexa, how are you this cool all the time? Her messy up-do is seems to be held together by one mighty Ashley Williams clip, and it's making us rethink crystal hair clips less for wedding day, and more for every single day.
4. @iamblackpig
We’re loving the metallic sporty bomber and blue-black-polka-dot combo, don’t get us wrong. But also: that unicorn phone case, though.
5. @pandorasykes
You won’t be surprised to learn that ex-Debrief fashion ed Pandora Sykes is on pretty much everyone’s LFW best-dressed list. Case in point: these statement tangerine sleeves. Who else could pull this off? Go on, tell us. Yeah, that’s right: no one.
6. @topshop
This trans-seasonal polka dot jumper is already in our Autumn shopping bags because a) it's amazing, and b) it's already in stores!
7. @jenn.tonic
Here’s how to pull off wacky yet classy, at the same time. In case you were wondering…
8. @jenn.tonic
We didn't actually realise it was possible to use a royal blue coat and shoes to dress up an otherwise beach-appropriate look, but we’re taking notes.
9. @metrogypsie
The whole underwear-as-outerwear trend isn’t the easiest to style, but by adding in trainers and oversized jacket, this has been our favourite solution so far.
