LONDON

London

As LFW is about to hit the capital and our Insta-feeds are chockablock with catwalk looks and street style, it’s high time we sorted the good from the bad and gave you a definitive list of who you REALLY must follow during London Fashion Week (and beyond). From Sergio the Sausage Dog to Doncaster-bred supermodel, Sam Rollinson… stop what you're doing and hit 'Follow' immediately.

  1. The Fashion Pet: Sergio at The Outnet

Meet Sergio, our favourite shoe obsessive. Forget Choupette, LFW is (hopefully) all about Sergio. Consider him a sniffer dog for fabulous shoes. Note to Sergio: If you ever need a place to stay/get some downtime then we are more than happy to look after you for an hour/day/life. Just pleeease show your little face this season.

  1. The Fashion House: Burberry

Burberry are always at the forefront of the digital fashion game and we can’t wait to see what the fashion house has in store for SS16. From their cinemagraphs of animated sketches of their LFW collection to subtle moving scenes of London, in the build up to fashion week, Burberry are a key feed to follow for the fashion-obsessive.

  1. The Fashionista: Alexa Chung

Alexa consistently gives awfully good Insta-game and her output around LFW will be no exception. From her snaps direct from the FROW to arty shots of Pixie Geldof, Henry Holland et al, we can’t get enough of her feed. Expect gazillions of fun selfies and dry captions, which will make you wish you had thought of them first.

  1. The Don: British Fashion Council

Any self-respecting fashion-obsessive knows just how key the British Fashion Council are to LFW. Hit ‘follow’ immediately for insider access to everything from the invites to bird’s eye views of the shows.

  1. The Outsider: Zayn Malik

Six months ago we would never have seen this one coming, but if rumours are to be believed, then you can expect to see Zayn Malik all over the FROWS at LFW. We can’t wait to see what sartorial choices the lothario makes. Will he go sporty à la Kanye or chic à la Harry Styles? And more importantly will he be cozying up to Harry for the all-important selfies or will Rita Ora have to step in?!

  1. The Hairstylist: Sam McKnight

Sam is not only the A-list fave at the shows, but also possibly the silliest man you are likely to find backstage. We love his fun shots with models almost as much as his ridonk selfies. And if you keep following him then you are likely to see many a pretty bloom in his downtime, as he is crazy for his garden (as are we).

  1. The Model: Sam Rollinson

Doncaster-born Sam was one of the hardest working models of LFW AW15, and we expect to see her all over the catwalks during London SS16. Katie Grand fave, Sam, is the perfect antidote to all the pretentious waffle around fashion week. Expect bags of dry Northern humour and actual normal person food and booze. We can’t get enough of this lass.

  1. The Newbie: Ashley Williams

This up and coming Brit designer made her NEWGEN debut in SS15 and is already a Brit fash-pack favourite. Expect the likes of Pixie Geldof, Alexa Chung and Georgia May Jagger to be cheering on their pal at LFW. We can’t wait to see what the nicest girl in fashion has in store for us. More kittens please.

  1. The Photographer: Street Peeper Phil

Oh is one of our go-to snappers during fashion week and we enjoy his captions almost as much as the actual pictures. We love his wry take on fashion week and his sneaky snaps of the A-list (hello Nicki Minaj). Expect some backstage and frow pics mixed in with his signature street pics, all in his fresh, playful style.

  1. The Insider: London Fashion Week

If your Insta feed is getting a bit chockablock then get deleting and look no further than London Fashion Week's, The Daily, the official newspaper of LFW. This key Insta account has everything you need to be in the know, from behind-the-scenes prep, mood boards and the shows themselves (obvs), all in one fash-tastic account.
