We knew the day would come when Lily Rose Depp would have her own Chanel campaign, it just happened a little quicker than we expected.

The 16-year-old daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis made her fashion debut, so to speak, at the Chanel Metiers d'Art show in March where she looked the coolest person in the room in a Chanel crop top and pencil skirt.

It was at that exact moment that she became the favourite to be a new face at Chanel. Three months later, Karl Lagerfeld has named Lily-Rose his latest Chanel ambassador, fronting the campaign for his Pearl eyewear collection.

Karl Lagerfeld said of his new face: “Lily-Rose is stunning, she’s a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star.”

You could say she was destined to become a Chanel girl as Lily's mother, Vanessa Paradis, is a close friend of Karl and long-time face of the house. She became an ambassador in 1990 - meaning she has had 25 years of Chanel 2.55 bags #lifegoals.
