As the merry-go-round of international collections stopped in London this week it’s given our home-grown influencers and fashion industry veterans a chance to flex their sartorial muscles. As anyone who has spent February in the UK knows’s it’s wet, grey and cold outside, which means test-driving the pretty spring trends isn’t a user-friendly option. Instead, it’s become apparent that everyone - from celebrities to interns - have been fashioning themselves in these five items. If you know what’s what you will do the same.

1. Sequins

The Kira Kira look is still stalking the catwalk and street style alike, but this time it's a with a sense of irony. Stylist Anna Trevelyn nails the look with an Ashish sweater dress.

TBH no one saw this one coming, but everyone is wearing extremely long belts like they all got a memo we didn't missed. It's a fan favourite with the Off/White label-loving crowd, but since it's found its way into high street stores now half of LFW is wearing the look. Practical? No. Cool? Very

3. Camo Trousers

Fact: We've seen more camouflage trousers at London Fashion Week than skinny jeans. Blend in with the LFW crowd by bagging a pair STAT. Cora Delaney wore hers to the opening night of Converses' One Star Hotel with Maison Martin Margiela Tabi boots and a comfy sweater. This is 2018 party wear, and we're here for it.

4. Hair Slides

PSA: hair barrettes are the new statement earring. Retire your jewellery immediately and head to Claire's (or Simone Rocha if you're Alexa Chung) and stock up on natty clips and slides immediately.
