The fourth look you voted for our fashion team to wear this LFW is… Animal Print.
The ‘Animal Print Trend’ needs very little explanation, but what’s interesting about this season’s focus is that whilst it still includes traditional interpretations (the leopard print, for instance – the tiger, the zebra, the snakeskin) it also takes on a new dimension. Prints of actual animals (‘animal prints’ – geddit?) are bang on-trend this autumn too. Yup, pictures of birds and mammals, butterflies and bees are in-in-in. So dig out that squirrel jumper, it's time for a revival.
Today, fashion assistant Charlie has chosen to work the AP trend traditionally. To let the loud pattern take centre stag, she teams her leopard print sheepskin coat with subtle colours – black jeans, a dark merino wool knitted jumper and a pair of black Brogues with lightweight, micro wedges. Accessorising her statement coat, is a glossed-leather shoulder bag (in baby pink) and a dazzling Marc Jacobs MBM3421 watch.
