When it comes to Lady Gaga, you can never predict what her next fashion move will be. We always knew that if Gaga ever launched a clothing line it would be totally barking. The mother monster has just announced she is turning her hand to designing... for dogs.
Lady Gaga is according to Billboard creating a pet product line with “quality, functional and purposeful products.” How very Paris Hilton of her.
Lady Gaga got her fans guessing about her new venture when she posted a number of pictures of her beloved pet Miss Asia Kinney, posing with _Vogue_s on a picnic and wearing several pawfect accessories.
In one picture Asia looks over some sketches, with the Instagram captioned: "I love to eat while I sketch my ideas for the fashionable puppy line I'm starting!" Another image was captioned: "Keep a look out for a special announcement. I'm the star of a new campaign for a major luxury fashion brand. You never know, I could grace the pages of Italian Vogue."
But it's not just sparkly dog collars and novelty t shirts. This business may also include doggie food as Gaga captioned one image: "ORGANIC GRAIN-FREE LOCAL FARM INGREDIENTS are the best for our body and brain. That’s what I eat! That’s why I'm inspired to also create A Pet Food Line."
Gaga's manager said to Billboard about the doggy business: “This is not just about crazy outfits for dogs. It’s about giving pet parents and pet owners a fun and creative way for protecting their pets, as well as fun clothes to display on Instagram (because Gaga loves doing that).” He also revealed that some of the proceeds will go to “locally-based organizations that do great work with real pets."
One thing is for sure, dogs everywhere would love to get their paws on a top-of-the-range meat dress.
