Usually, when you read the news that an item has an 800 person waiting list you expect that it’s been worn by Meghan Markle or designed by Hermes. But such is the power of Kitri, the little-known British label whose dresses are certifiably flattering and reasonably priced.
Until now the label, which launched last spring, has only been available through its online store. Today it was announced that Kitri will be hosting a pop-up for three weeks at Selfridges in London, followed by launching a more permanent space in the department store's contemporary womenswear offering. The Instagram-friendly powder pink shop-in-shop has been designed by the Campbell-Rey studio. Expect to find the label’s insouciant mix of fashion-focused workwear, effortless occasion dresses and a newly-released selection of linen pieces, floral dresses and slogan tops.
‘We are so thrilled to open a pop-up shop in prestigious Selfridges.’ Kim says, ‘Continuing from the success of our first ever pop-up shop in Marylebone, London last Autumn, we are continuing to experiment and finding different ways to connect with our customers. You will be able to shop our bestsellers as well as new styles in store and we feel that this partnership is a perfect way to introduce our fast-growing brand to new UK and international customers.'
