A modern muse meets an icon of the golden age, as Kim Kardashian West works the style kudos of none other than Jackie O for the September issue of Interview magazine.
The reality TV star, 36, was joined by her four-year-old daughter, North, as she channelled the former First Lady in meticulous detail in the shoot captured by photographer Steven Klein.
"I wanted to capture feminine beauty as an expression of empowerment and self-respect," said Steven. "Also, to highlight Kim in a chic manner that is retrospective of a time and yet modern."
"This photo shoot I will cherish forever as such an amazing memory with my daughter," said Kim. "It was powerful, and allowed me to pay homage to the iconic Jackie Kennedy who I admire and respect."

Presence and pearls
Ever the classy lady, Jackie O often sported a layer of white pearls to complete her look. Kim wears them with equal finesse, along with emanating her 60s shift dress that subtly accentuates the collarbone and shoulders. And of course, let's not forget Kim's lustrous brunette bob - a key element of Jackie O's allure.
Waist appeal
Jackie 0 showed us that there is nothing more flattering than a cinched-in waist, with an eye-catching belt adding structure to the outline. This is a signature 1960s look, and Kim is faithful to it. The tailoring is simple and chic, and the length gives a nod to the mini-skirt trend - at its height in the swinging '60s.
Gloves, glorious gloves
Short sleeves teamed with a high-neck is a classic Jackie O fashion formula. The overall effect makes for a fitted power dress that is bold, yet at the same time refined and ladylike.
