Who else remembers Magic Steps shoes? The shoes that came with a gold key that turned a magic dial under the sole, revealing a sparkly crystal. Mine were pretty much my life when I was six. I obviously totally lost the key after five minutes, but ever since I’ve been obsessed with fancy keys. (Anyone want to buy me a Tiffany key pendant? Anyone?) This season, Dolce & Gabbana’s fairy-tale folklore inspired collection (complete with owls, foxes and hedgehogs) boasted pieces dotted with glittery, delicate keys that looked like they had trotted straight out of Hansel and Gretel’s wardrobe. On the high street, Marks & Spencer has come to our rescue, offering a version that allows you to channel the trend and still chuck it in the washing machine. #Winning.
