The Kenzo X H&M lookbookdropped yesterday and as we've come to expect from such collaborations: it looks quite awesome.
Choc-a-block full of animal prints, big shapes and bold prints it’s doesn’t look like one of the most wearable collaborations from the high street brand but it will definitely find them new customers in Kenzo fans hoping to get their hands on a piece of high end Parisian goodness. Which we guess is kind of the point.
We’ve checked out the collection and have totally got our eyes on the candy floss pink shearling and leather jacket (swoon), the pleated green and pink tiger print jumper and also one rather sexy looking blue printed kimono from the menswear section…
H&M collaborations are the most anticipated high/low fashion matches around and since their first venture with Karl Largerfield in 2004 they’ve worked with Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Jimmy Choo, Versace, Isabel Marant and Balmain. Rarely has a collection disappointed.
Super cool Kenzo are on flying form at the moment, with this launch coming hot off the back of their Spike Jonze directed perfume ad which is possibly one of the coolest things we’ve seen this year. So fast forward to November 3rd when these clothes hits the stores and there’s basically guaranteed to be a mad rush to buy it.
So if you do like what you see - we wish you the best of luck getting your hands on it…
