Usually when you see Kendall Jenner walking a red carpet she’s wearing a glitzy gown, probably by Balmain or Alexander Wang, that shows off her long lean legs and toned arms. Her hair is most likely perfectly coiffed, her ears studded with diamonds or at the very least generously large gems and her make-up is the definition of on fleek. However, this wasn’t the case this week. Though it was an event celebrating her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s clothing line with Prettylittlething, Kendall dressed like every girl everywhere who can't be arsed to go out. And, we don’t mean she just wore no make-up in that #wokeuplikethis (but secretly spent twenty minutes applying BB Cream to my face and vaseline to my lashes) way, we literally mean she dressed more low-key than we've ever seen.
While Kourtney wore a teeny sequined black slip dress from her new range with stilettos and her hair slicked back into a ponytail, Kendall stepped out in jeans and a long-sleeve grey top covered in holes. Now, we know the whole raggedy, ripped aesthetic is a thing but we’re just not convinced that this was the look Kenny was going for. Under normal circumstances the Kardashian-Jenners will wear something covered in holes, like frayed jeans, with something dressy, say stilettos, or for instance a grunge-y top that exposes a slinky bralet, to achieve that high-low, sexy-effortless balance. But, Kenny didn’t do that. Instead, she was so low-fi with her clear, untampered skin and comfy looking top it let us see ourselves in her.

Of course, we wouldn’t dare judge a girl for not dressing up. Hey, that’s us everything single day. But, unlike us, it's hella unusual to see Kendall Jenner, Vogue covergirl, best-mate of the Hadid's, Karl Lagerfeld's muse dressing down.
