Further Proof Kendall Jenner Is Karl Lagerfeld’s No.1 Muse

Another day, another 'Kendall Jenner major modelling moment' story breaks. This time it's her first ever campaign with Fendi that is further proof of her power in the industry.

Kendall joins Lily Donaldson as the face of the Autumn Winter 2015 campaign, which is called 'Arty Puppets', shot by Fendi's creative director Karl Lagerfeld.

Karl explains the concept behind the campaign: “For FENDI Fall/Winter 2015-16 advertising campaign, I was inspired by the incredible Swiss artist Sophie Taeuber-Arp, Her works are so modern and graphic, exactly as Fendi is about for next Fall: very luxurious, but at the same time highly contemporary and very clear." It’s no surprise that Kendall was handpicked for the campaign, as the creative director of Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld, is a big fan of Kendall. She has now made several turns on the Chanel runway (she was his Chanel bride at Couture last week) and also starred in Karl’s Spring 2015 accessories campaign.

Kendall said to Harpers Bazaar of when she first met Karl: "I’m really shy when I first meet someone—and to meet him was even worse. He would say something to me and I would just nod. It was like meeting a crush or something—I was mute," Kendall admitted. "He probably thought I was the biggest weirdo. And then every time we’d see each other, it would just get better and better. Now we’re totally BFFs."

Kendall and Lily join a list of impressive former faces of the fashion house, including Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls, Jessica Stam and Lindsay Wixson.
