Believe it or not, Kate Moss is celebrating her 40th birthday this month. In an industry not renowned for longevity, the fact that Kate's star is still shining brightly is something worth celebrating. So, in this week's issue of Grazia, we have dedicated no fewer than 15 pages to Kate's 40th, with iconic pictures from throughout her stellar career and tributes from some of the industry's biggest names. Pick up your issue now to see every Mossy morsel but in the meantime, let's take a look back at her 25 most iconic covers...

It has been 25 years since Mossy started her career and her face is still plastered all over the newstands. Kate has been on more than 300 magazine covers (gulp) and it all started back in 1990 when Corinne Day was commissioned by The Face for a definitive grunge story entitled 'The 3rd Summer of Love', which featured a young giggly Mossy rocking a feathered headdress.

Since then Moss has grabbed headlines with her striking covers, from taking a bubble bath in a wet t shirt for Love Magazine to posing naked with Rihanna for V Magazine. Yep we've seen a LOT (literally) of Kate Moss on the newstands - remember her Interview shoot with a topless Naomi Campbell?

We have rounded up our pick of the 25 most iconic Kate Moss covers, including a 90s-tastic solero coloured Dazed cover, Mossy snuggled up in bed with Daria Werbowy and Lara Stone on the cover of W Magazine and her midsummer's eve wedding to Jamie Hince shot by Mario Testino for* US Vogue*.

If you need evidence of how versatile this supermodel really is, then take a quick flick through her model book, as she has gone from an edgy punk rocker on The Face, to an athletic bombshell in a white Nike crop top and green fur on Vogue Paris, to a David Bowie look-a-like on* Vogue Paris*.

Take a look through Kate Moss' most iconic magazine covers in the gallery above.
