Over the years, Kate Moss has famously flaunted her body for some of her most iconic photos, but apparently she won’t be doing any more explicit shoots. And the reason being that she doesn’t want to embarrass daughter Lila Grace Moss, who's now 12. We always knew she was a cool mum.
Explaining the decision to The Mirror, she said: “I don’t think my daughter wants to see me on the toilet. Lila has seen me nude. She went: ‘Yes, Mummy, there is a lot of you in those pictures.’ She saw the Playboy thing - she didn’t see the inside but she knew about the whole thing.”
“There are things when I think: ‘I’m not going to do that.’ It gives you boundaries.”
The Playboy cover in question saw Kate cover the mag’s 60th anniversary edition back in 2013 dressed in bunny ears. She’s since posed nude for a Burberry campaign with Cara Delevingne, to promote the brand’s My Burberry fragrance. Though, perhaps her most iconic recent nude was a flawless butt-baring shot for St Tropez, taken in the French Riviera, also from 2013.
Recently, an unseen nude shot of Kate surfaced when Kate's photographer friend Mert Alas shared it with his 30,000 Instagram followers. The stunning portrait was unretouched and dated back to 2012. It’s unknown why the portrait wasn’t released previously.
