Over 28 years after signing with the agency, Kate Moss has parted ways with Storm Management.

The 42-year-old model was scouted by Storm’s founder Sarah Doukas at JFK Airport in New York at the age of 14, and remained with the agency throughout her career.

The decision has been described as amicable, with a spokesperson for the agency explaining that ‘after a successful 28 year relationship, Kate is moving her business in house, and we will continue to maintain an active involvement in our on-going deals for her.’

Kate’s modelling profile is no longer listed on Storm's website, but her half-sister Lottie, who signed with Storm in 2014, remains with the agency. The 18-year-old, who was scouted at Kate's wedding to Jamie Hince, recently landed her debut magazine cover for Dutch glossy L’Officiel and her first major campaign as the new face of US accessories label, Botkier New York.

Kate’s decision to leave Storm follows the decision of her Burberry campaign co-star Cara Delevingne, who left the agency in 2015 in order to focus on her acting career.

It has been reported that Kate plans to move into interior design, having registered the company name Kate Moss Interiors late last year. She'll also have a much anticipated cameo in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, which will hit cinemas on July 1st.

In December, a source told The Sun that 'Kate is always looking for new projects away from modelling. She loved doing her fashion line and is really getting into acting after filming for the Absolutely Fabulous movie. But to start an interior design company shows she’s serious. She loves it and puts a lot of time, effort, thought and money into design.'
