Today, the Duchess of Cambridge launched the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, a new initiative focusing on the importance of children's early years (0-5 years) and the impact it can have on their future. As part of the launch, Kate Middleton today visited the London School of Economics. And for the occasion, she chose one of her favourite high street labels.
Known for her love of brands likeZara, M&S and Boden, today Kate went back to one of her most beloved high street stores – LK Bennett. She has worn the brand several times in the past and today, she chose a classic shift dress in a pretty pale blue hue.
Surprisingly, the £225 dress is still in stock, although we have no doubt that this won't be the case for very long. The Kate effect shows no signs of waning, after all, and what she wears still tends to sell out in record timing.

Earlier this morning, the Duchess revealed her new initiative on social media, posting a video to Twitter. 'I wanted to understand what more we could do to help prevent some of today's toughest social challenges,' she said. 'What has become clear is that the best investment for our future health and happiness is in the first five years of life.'
'By working together, my hope is that we can change the way we think about early childhood and transform lives for generations to come. Because I truly believe big change starts small.'
