The Duchess of Cambridge doesn't just have a wardrobe packed with Alexander McQueen, Jenny Packham, Erdem and Emilia Wickstead, she is also a well-known fan of the high street. Aside from LK Bennett, Hobbs, Boden and M&S (yes, even Kate Middleton loves M&S), Kate is rivalling us all for the title of Zara's biggest fan.
Just last week, the Duchess was out in one of Zara's midi dresses, heralding the start of autumn in grey checks. Then, yesterday, Kate wore a green Erdem coat over the top of a Zara jumper for a visit to Kew Gardens.
Not only does this prove her love of the high street label, Kate also unwittingly endorsed one of this season's breakout trends: the short-sleeved knit. It makes sense for the current climate – one needs something that's not too summery, nor too warm.
Of course, Kate's exact jumper has already sold out but there are plenty of other options on the market – there are even other green styles which look remarkably similar to the Duchess' knit.
