Every now and again a high street favourite of ours collaborates with a label that makes us go weak at the knees. This time, our leg wobbling, credit card grabbing excitement can be blamed on ASOS as their newest collaboration with Hunza G dropped today.
The first time we saw their crinkly stretch material was on Julia Roberts in Pretty Women when she wore that cut-out dress, but it wasn’t until Georgina Huddart orchestrated the label’s reinvention a couple of years ago that we really got hooked. After a successful collection designed by Pandora Sykes, the label developed an army of It girl followers. Looking at you Lily Donaldson, Dua Lipa, Suki Waterhouse and Camille Charrière.
Today, with little fan fair seven pieces dropped on ASOS.com. Priced between £100 and £136, the look doesn’t come cheap but it’s also almost identical to the label’s main line. And, most importantly includes a dress that is near-identical to Vivian Ward’s.
