Exciting news from model land: our beloved Jourdan Dunn is set to create a clothing range for children and young adults. Jourdan's agency Storm Model Management confirmed the news today and revealed the collection will be full of sweatshirts, jeans, jackets, basic t-shirts, leggings and jumpers perfect for mini-mes.
Jourdan, who is mum to five-year old Riley, said: "I love kid's clothes and have been obsessed with them ever since my son was born." Indeed, Riley is becoming a style star himself thanks to his gorgeous mama frequently Instagramming snaps of her cute little boy in designer outfits.
As well as having the chance to kit out her son in her own creations, the new venture allows Jourdan to fulfil her design dreams. "Through my career in fashion I have come to love and respect great design, and as a mum I also expect great quality and value for money, as well as the coolest clothes for my son, Riley."
The model will be designing two collections via a collaboration with Fluid World, the same company that launched the Hello Kitty brand in the UK. And the next step? To launch the collection internationally.
Andrew Lane, CEO of Fluid World, said "Jourdan Dunn is a fashion icon who sets trends and influences style. I am delighted to be working with her on this exciting project and bringing her cool urban style to a wider audience."
Our bets are on North West being the first tot to nab a JD tee.
