We promise to accept that it’s actually proper, proper winter soon and spend money on new stuff, but until then we’re going to drag out how we can still wear the clothes we loved all summer by wearing them differently.
As a last hurrah for your summer wardrobe, let’s take your jumpsuit: perfect for sunny days where you could throw it on, be dressed in minutes, and effectively go to work in your pyjamas. Now, every time you look at it you think of cold ankles and the wind blowing through you like a parachute.

Do The Double Coat
This might sound obvious, but two layers are better than one. Wear a short jacket on top of your jumpsuit and finish off with a tailored overcoat. Meet warm power dressing, a la 2014.
With Leather and A Long Sleeved Top
You might have enjoyed the casual vibe of a T-shirt under dungarees, but it’s time to cover your arms with a long, lightweight top, and add a protective layer of leather with a tough biker jacket.
With Faux Fur And Trainers
We love the high-low look of wearing a jumpsuit with massive furry coat and your battered converse. Kinda like Bugsy Malone meets Cara D.
**Under A Bomber Jacket **
The proportions of a thick bomber (try shearling or leather) are perfect for wearing with the long, slightly loose legs of your jumpsuit. A bomber will finish on the hip and won’t stunt you like a longer coat might if you’re not gazelle-like. Tuck the legs into your boots to avoid blue ankles.
Layer Over A White Shirt
Jumpsuits were the perfect night-out option when it was balmy outside, but now it's freezing past 10pm even with a coat on, you might want to add an extra layer to that sequinned all-in-one you’ve only worn once.
