Happy 41st Birthday, Kate Moss! Why This Was Her Best Year Yet

Happy 41st birthday to the one and only Kate Moss. The supermodel turns another year older today - and what a year it’s been.

Despite barely being able to drag herself away from the Chiltern Firehouse, Mossy has managed to squeeze in a return to designing for Topshop, landed campaigns for Stella McCartney, Matchless and Alexander McQueen, and been voted one of the most beautiful women of all time.

The jack-of-all-trades also tried her hand at playing Cupid and set up actress Liv Tyler with football agent Dave Gardner. The couple are now expecting a baby so Kate should be a shoe-in for coolest Godmother ever!

All this in addition to her role in David Walliams' BBC Christmas drama The Boy In The Dress makes you wonder how she had time to fit in a bit of relaxation, but Kate does indeed work hard and play hard.

In her 40th year Kate has been seen living it up in Rio with BFF Naomi Campbelland (photographer duo Mert and Marcus), soaking up the sun on board Sir Philip Green's luxury yacht in St Barts, and kicking back with her husband Jamie Hince in Ibiza.

Kate also made time to show face at some of the year’s coolest parties, such as photographer Mario Testino’s 60th birthday and AnOther Magazine's Autumn Winter 2014 Launch Party,as well as Riccardo Tisci's star-studded 40th.

So as Kate waves goodbye to 40, we wave hello to another year of fashion fabulous-ness and effortless cool. And hopefully the Queen of Croydon will be out celebrating tonight – we can’t wait to see how she tops last year’s mammoth 100-hour bash!

SEPTEMBER 2014: Mossy teamed up with Cara Delevingne for Burberry's new campaign - and FROWs with her at the SS15 show. Hello dream team!

OCTOBER 2014: Speaking of the dream duo, have you ever wondered what Kate would look like as Cara? Neither did we, until the supermodel went and did it for Halloween! Yes, rather than sticking to your standard cat-ears-and-whiskers, the supermodel dressed up as her fellow catwalker. Such Lols!

OCTOBER 2014: Kate donned a leopard print camisole and took to the decks to celebrate 50 years of one of London's most prestigious A-list nightclubs, Annabel's. Talk about the life and soul of a party!
