OK, OK confession.. we didn't actually make it to Glastonbury this year guys but we did spend the entire weekened on Instagram though *obviously - *and no, we did not feel jealous at all. AT. ALL. From all the stalking we did though, we discovered that you kids sure do know how to dress for a party. Check out our roundup of some of our favourite looks below and the festival styling tips we've stolen directly from you.

The Sunny Hippy

katy_shimmin

Love the sunny yellow vibes, perfect for the Somerset countryside. The key here? Embrace one colour wholeheartedly.

The Modern 60s

Laura Whitmore has kept it super simple with a tan shift but upped the antis with awesome accessories. A great bag (so useful too), some kind of fur gilet jacket thing that although we can't quite make out, definitely screams nonchalant rocker and biker boots that are way cooler than your average green welly. If you can't be bothered to buy loads of new clothes for the summer maybe try buying some fun extras, instead.

70s Children

Love love love the dedication to the seventies from all these girls. Flares, crochet, sheepskin and disco glitter makeup. Almost Famous eat your heart out - this is the decade to don at all festivals this summer

And A Few More Examples Of 70s Chic... In Case You Weren't Convinced, Already

Yes yes we know, but it looks so good! If you think about it, festivals have always been about the seventies really haven't they? If you're going to buy one thing make it a crochet dress or a seventies style t-shirt.

If You're Bored Of Fedoras Go For A Baseball Cap

Sure fedoras are a bit of a festival cool cat staple, but they can sometimes look a little try-hard. If that's how you feel then why not try a baseball cap? Also you could wear it backwards, sideways as well as straight on. Pretty versatile, right?

Old School 90s Raver

If you're really stuck for festival ideas don't forget the acid house style years. Tie-dye? Check. Metallic rucksack? Check. DMs? Yup.

@mcbhomas

And What About Makeup I Hear You Ask?

Go green, apparently! Green lips, green eyeshadow. Why the hell not.
