Further proof oftotal Gigi Hadid domination: the 19 year old model announced via Instagram (seriously, we wouldn't be surprised if the results of the next general election were revealed via a thumbs up selfie of whoever's the next PM) that she would be the new face of makeup giant, Maybelline. Gigi first posted a video with the announcement, then a behind-the-scenes snap of one of her campaign shots being edited.
Gigi said she was 'so beyond honoured and excited' to be the new face of the brand, which only adds to her roster of impressive recent achievements. There was her incredible Sports Illustrated cover, her sultry appearance in the 2015 Pirelli calendar and her basically ruling the Fashion Week shows (Sonia Rykiel, Marc Jacobs and Chanel, anyone?) alongside her model besties Kendall Jenner and the Baldwin sisters.

While we're on model friends, let's not forget that the ink is not yet dry on Kendall's own contract as the face of Estee Lauder, which we imagine makes for some interesting WhatsApp conversations between the two - surely they basically just send each other the painting my nails emoji a lot. Hey, if the shoe fits...
Watch Gigi's Instagram video snippet below, which was taken from an interview with US Vogue where she talks about her beauty journey. She also told the magazine, "In middle school I wasn't allowed to wear makeup. I secretly bought Maybelline's SuperStay 24HR concealer at CVS. I thought it was the coolest thing in the world." Well Gigi, we'll hazard a guess that being the face of the brand is possibly a little bit cooler.
