Despite donning the Barbie-esque ‘Belgie’ hoodies in recent Snapchats, Gigi Hadid does not condone the line of merchandise dedicated to the model sisters.

Taking to Twitter to dispel the rumours, Gigi wrote, ‘There's been some confusion about the "Bella and Gigi Tour' sweatshirts. We are not affiliated with their production’.

She continued, ‘We were sent them, and we love them as a fan creation, but selling them using our likeness isn't legal’.

The company selling the merch, Urban Sophistication, have since removed the line from their site after prompting confusion surrounding a supposed collaboration.

However, it’s clear Gigi and Bella enjoyed the sartorial creations and might just design their own one day...

And if this has been anything to go by, it might just be a sell-out.

One 19 August 2016 we wrote...

Everyone’s favourite sisters have followed the fash pack and announced the launch of their own merchandise. But with Kylie and Kendall Jenner as part of their squad, it’s no wonder the Hadids have taken inspo from the influx of Yeezy slogan tees…

And their merch line is totally fitting with this season’s athleisure trend. The collection, known as ‘Belgie’, is in collaboration with Urban Sophistication and features two hoodies and two t-shirts, which are available to buy online.

And the collection seems to have taken inspo from Jeremy Scott’s SS16 collection for Moschino, which infamously used Barbie as a sartorial muse.

Gigi debuted the similarities in a Snapchat of her donning a pink jumper with two doll-like heads of the sisters on the chest. With ‘Belgie’ emblazoned on the front in Barbie-esque font, it’s a nod to the newfound tongue-in-cheek side to fashion.

We all know Gigi is partial to a tee after she recently declared her love for boyfriend through a T-shirt adorned with the words, ‘lol ur not Zayn Malik’. Which was reportedly a jibe at ex Joe Jonas, who is rumoured to have claimed Gigi moved on after their relationship ‘so quickly’.

A second tee takes on more of a grungy aesthetic with a ‘runway’ tour theme listing their past shows, from Balmain for H&M to Chanel Haute Couture. Not to mention the hoodie with a motif of the sisters at Rihanna’s Puma show in February earlier this year...

And if you fancy coveting the sisters’ line, then you can bag yourself some merch online. But be quick, as they're sure to be a sell out.
