Sarah Jessica Parker in a tutu, four friends gossiping and cosmopolitans on the table…no this isn’t a rerun but the final instalment in Fendi’s #BaguetteFriendsForever campaign. Monopolizing on the current comeback trend for 90s ‘It’ bags, the Italian label is resurrecting the Baguette in all its kitschy glory.

Back in 1997, Silvia Venturini Fendi designed the iconic accessory as an antidote to the era’s stark minimalism. The bag tantalized with the same craftsmanship the label used to create its glorious ready-to-wear. Trinket-y embroidery, fantastic beading and gem-like hardware secured the Baguette's cult-appeal without discounting its enduring practicality (it's easily tucked under the shoulder). Since its inception, this dainty arm candy has been regularly spotted under the crook of the arm of Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and (of course) SJP.

Some 21-years later, Fendi is having a little fun with the handbag. A series of videos set in Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York starring influencers like Caro Daur, models and celebrities highlight the ultimate quest to find the perfect Baguette. The last video in the series drops today and stars SJP back in the Big Apple with her hands on one very exclusive bag.
