Shoegazing: Chanel Slingacks And Dior’s Perspex-Heel Boots Are Everywhere At Fashion Week

Last season's catwalks were awash with killer heels, lust-have boots and stellar slingbacks and so this Fashion Week's street style is shaping up to be all about the 'It' shoe.

We've been keeping our eyes to the ground for the shoes stealing the show and there's some clear leaders of the shoe pack.

Chanel's two-tone slingbacks

Chanel's new block heels are an instant classic - the dainty slingbacks are fashion week's most prolific designer shoes. With a low block heel, they're perfect for running between shows and go with everything.

Dior's perspex-heel boots

For more directional fashion fans, Christian Dior's space age ankle and knee-high boots are the go-to this fashion week. Paired with a PVC mini a la WeWoreWhat's Danielle Bronstein or with a more out-there all-over print bodysuit (trust Anna Dello Russo) they're got serious 60s flavour. We're seriously coveting the cream version with the dip-dye effect heel.

We've seen Alexander Wang's platform boots toughening up many a FROW look. If Blonde Salad blogger Chiara Ferragni is wearing them you know they're a runaway hit.

A non-mover in the shoe chart of lust: Adidas' Stan Smiths and sliders are still everywhere. The affordability of these babies means they've got serious legs.
