The melting pot of talent that is Fashion East came up trumps today, with a new generation of talented designers turning out a solid lineup.

1. At This Is The Uniform, models played ping pong wearing pleated miniskirts, sports mesh, and cropped satin jackets - think sports day at fashion school.

2. Richard Malone's models all wore peachy-tan pointed toe leather kitten heel mules. Sound bizarre? They were, but wonderfully so.

3. The street-casting at Richard Malone made for a brilliantly eclectic line-up of women. A show in praise of the individual.

4. The sherbet colour palette at Caitlin Price was the perfect counterpoint to her sportswear silhouettes, and made baby pink and blue feel cool, and almost tough.

5. The white trainer is still a thing, as proven by This Is The Uniform's Reebok classics and Caitlin Price's Nike airmax. They were enviably box-fresh, too.
