Billed as Britain's answer to the Met Gala, this year's Fashion Awards are set to be the biggest yet, as everyone who's anyone descends upon the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate excellence in the industry.
Amongst the hotly contested categories are British Womenswear Designer, which will see Christopher Kane, Roksanda Ilincic, Jonathan Anderson, Sarah Burton and Simone Rocha go head to head, and International Model, where the Hadid sisters will compete against each other and Kendall Jenner, Adwoa Aboah and Lineisy Montero.
Ahead of tonight's star-studded (and, it would appear, Swarovski-studded) event, the BFC have crunched the numbers to show us what it takes to bring the Fashion Awards to life...
1. The 14 Swarovski crystal awards have been designed by Mark Newson, and weigh 27,300 grams in total
That's four stone four lbs, if you prefer your measurements imperial...
2. 8,000 individual Swarovski crystals will be hung on the Prologue installation at the front of the Royal Albert Hall
Perfect Instagram fodder, no?
3. The trophies have travelled 800 miles from Swarovski's Austrian headquarters to the Royal Albert Hall in London
Which is quite the commute...
4. 4,000 guests will be attending
It's the first year that tickets have been made available for sale to members of the public.
5. 100 kilograms of loose Swarovski crystals were used to decorate the Royal Albert Hall
While 300 crystal stands measuring over 1 kilometre will be integrated into the decor, too.
6. 260 butlers will be working at the event
We're guessing that's a lot more than Downton Abbey ever managed...
7. There will be 42 nominees and 15 winners
Ralph Lauren and Bruce Weber are among the winners who have already been announced by the BFC, for the Outstanding Achievement Award and Isabella Blow award respectively.
8. 60 chefs will be cooking 14 different dishes for dinner
Got to keep those 4,000 guests fed and watered...
9. 700 bottles of evian and 700 of Badoit sparkling water will be served
Pro tip: stay hydrated throughout the festive season...
10. It's 32 years since the first Fashion Award was given by the BFC
Katherine Hamnett won Best Womenswear Designer back in 1984.
11. There are 19 international nominees
Amongst the international models nominated are Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and her younger sister Bella. Talk about sibling rivalry...
12. 1,960 MAC products are in the guest goodie bags
We're not jealous. Not at all.
£10 million will be raised over the next 10 years for the BFC Education Foundation
This year's Fashion Awards is the inaugural fundraiser gala for the Education Foundation, which offers scholarlships to talented young designers to help them study.
13. 32 creative influencers will be celebrated in a newly created category
Amongst the industry figures to be honoured are photographers like Tim Walker, Mario Testino and Nick Knight, hairdressers like Sam McKnight and Guido Palau and make-up artists like Pat McGrath and Charlotte Tilbury.
