It's one of the biggest nights in the fashion calendar: the Fashion Awards 2016 are finally upon us, with this year's event set to rival the Met Gala in terms of its star-studded guest list and style stakes.
As any seasoned awards-goer knows, it's not just about who takes home a coveted award - it's also about who turns heads on the red carpet with a show-stopper of a gown or a statement outfit that will prove a sartorial talking point for weeks to come.
Gigi Hadid
Gigi rarely puts a stiletto-shod foot wrong when it comes to red carpet dressing (for a case in point, see her recent stint hosting the American Music Awards, which included an impressive five outfit changes). To be crowned as this year's International Model - an award which, face it, she was always going to win - the 21-year-old wore a dramatic Atelier Versace jumpsuit with structural detailing.
Jenna Coleman
The Victoria star, who is fast becoming a fixture on London's front rows, opted for a white Erdem gown in delicate floral print, with appropriately regal cape-like detail falling from the shoulders. She accessorised her look with Jessica McCormack jewels.
Kate Moss
If you've spent over two decades honing the ultimate eveningwear formula, why change things now? The reigning Queen of the supermodels kept things classic in a floor-length velvet dress with a cosy coat (it is freezing outside, after all) and trademark tousled Mossy waves.
Karlie Kloss
Karlie certainly wears minimalist shapes and monochrome very well, offsetting her simple gown with Swarovski jewellery (she's the face of the brand, so it's a perk of the job). Here's hoping she doesn't decide to cut the skirt of this Stella McCartney beauty before the after-party, like she did with her Met Gala gown...
Adwoa Aboah
How best to get noticed on a busy red carpet? Choose a dress made from fairytale tulle in neon green, that's how. It takes a brave soul to pull off a highlighter-esque hue, but Adwoa Aboah wears this Molly Goddard creation with aplomb.
Alexa Chung
Alexa certainly never plays it safe on the red carpet, and that's probably why we're still obsessed with her idiosyncratic style. On paper, this Prada two-piece set in pale yellow with marabou-fringed hems really shouldn't work. On Alexa, it somehow does. Bravo.
Here are some more of our favourite looks from the night so far...
