Calling all shopaholics: there's a new bag in town. While at Milan Fashion Week, us Graziettes got a sneak preview of Giorgio Armani’s new ‘it’ bag - meet Le Sac 11.
The new arm candy is a chic boxy square handbag with short top handles so that it can be held firmly, securely worn on the shoulder, or daintily on the arm, and with a zip fastening for added security. Yes please! What's more, this bag is made of the softest Italian leather with gold- plated fittings.
So why has the Italian designer assigned his new bag with a French name, you may be asking? Well, the designer has admitted to admiring the city of love, Paris, and ‘Le Sac’ simply translates into ‘The Bag’. Meanwhile, the number eleven signifies Giorgio’s date of birth AND the door number of the Armani Headquarters in Milan. It's fair to say that Mr Armani has truly put his personal stamp on this one.
Available in selected Giorgio Armani boutiques from April, this is a crucial date for your diary. Put this bag at the top of your shopping wishlist and make sure you’re accessorising the Armani way next season.
