On Tuesday, in the bustling heart of Paris, iconic lingerie design house Etam, gave tribute to 100 years in the industry with a spectacular show during Paris Fashion Week.

Set at the prestigious Pompidou Centre, the show was a celebration of what it means to be an Etam woman with a rebellious spirit conveyed through subtle Studio 54 references and bold statement pieces.

Models donned clustered gold headpieces and feathers upon their shoulders. Bejewelled bralets and sheer lace also walked the catwalk, a dazzling tribute to the powerful independence of the Etam woman.

Defined as ‘free in body and mind’, Etam made subtle sartorial references to the freedom of the ‘70s while also playing on the romantic associations with Paris. Muted blush pinks and ruffled, tulle pieces were juxtaposed with sexy, thigh-high glitter boots.

A celebratory dinner was then held by Etam following the live show with a performance by French singer Joey Starr.
