The world has been captivated by Emma Raducanu in the last couple of weeks. The 18-year old won the US Open, beating Leylah Fernandez in straight sets, with over nine million people tuning in to Channel 4 to watch. Not only did she take home the Grand Slam trophy and a cheque for £1.8 million, she amassed over one million followers on Instagram in just a few days, taking her follower count to two million.

Last night, she appeared at premiere to beat all premieres: the much-anticipated (and delayed) No Time To Die. Raducanu chose a dress from a label she hasn't yet worn: Dior. The pearly white and pleated gown was from Cruise 2022, and was further evidence (if anyone needed it) that she is fashion's new star. Don't forget, she was recently announced as a House Ambassador for Tiffany & Co, cementing her status as one of the world's next biggest influencers.

It's the news we've been expecting for some time given that Raducanu wore Tiffany & Co. jewellery throughout the US Open, including the brand's diamond and pearl Victoria earrings, the Tiffany T1 diamond bangle, the T1 ring in white gold with diamonds and the Tiffany Cross Pendant in 18K gold with diamonds. She also then wore Tiffany jewels with her Chanel ensemble at the Met Gala, where she appeared wearing a graphic bra top and skirt from the fashion house, with a pearl bodychain and patent black boots.

Chanel is another brand which could be in the running to recruit Raducanu given that she's now chosen the label twice for major events – other than the Met Gala, she also wore Chanel for the trophy ceremony following her US Open victory. She wore a short black tweed dress from the label's spring/summer 2021 ready-to-wear collection, which she paired with a pair of £94.99 Nike Air Force trainers.

Raducanu has an existing sponsorship deal with Nike, who provides all of her kit. The red and blue tank top and tennis skirt that she wore throughout the US Open is available to buy online but has already sold out in that specific colour combination. The Emma Effect has already begun.

Earlier this month, BritishVogueunveiled its photo shoot with the young tennis star, which has since been shared across social media. In it, Raducanu is wearing everyone from Alexander McQueen to Gucci to Valentino, cementing her status as fashion's rising star.

Earlier this year, Louis Vuitton announced Naomi Osakaas its new brand ambassador in a deal reportedly worth seven figures. Osaka is represented by Max Eisenbud, vice-president of tennis at IMG, whose other clients include Maria Sharapova – who earned over £200 million in sponsorships throughout her 17-year career – and now Raducanu.

With Eisenbud on her team, reports are already circulating that Raducanu is on track to make more money than any other British tennis player in history. And you can certainly bet that whatever she wears, the world will want to buy it.
