If you thought it was only Adele raising the fashion stakes at the Brit Awards this year, you were wrong. Emma Corrin made a surprise appearance on stage during Little Simz's performance, which was a medley of her songs 'Introvert' and 'Woman'. Naturally, Corrin chose the most spectacular outfit for the occasion.
Performing one of Little Simz's spoken word album interludes between songs, Corrin wore a custom Harris Reed look, which included the designer's famous white hat, paired with a jacket made from upcycled wedding dresses that was part of Reed's recent collection, FOUND.
Posting on Instagram, Reed wrote: 'QUEER ICONS ONLY! Honoured to have dressed for the second @brits in a row, the outstanding @emmalouisecorrin who wears head to toe Harris Reed including the iconic White Hat, paired with jacket made from 100% up-cycled wedding dresses from my collection entitled FOUND and the classic H boots and Classic flare. I love you so much Emma hearing your spoken word last night alongside @littlesimz was beyond everything!!! Also shout of to @vivienne.h.lake and @rokeratelier my co collaborators on my accessories! The performance I needed to get me through this next collection.'
Reed is currently gearing up to open London Fashion Week, off the back of an incredibly successful 2021. With Harry Styles as one of the biggest champions of Harris Reed, it's no surprise that Corrin turned to the designer for her Brit Awards moment – the two share a stylish in Harry Lambert, who has created some iconic looks for both stars.
Corrin, for her part, is quickly becoming one of the most exciting people to watch on (and off) the red carpet thanks to her daring, bold choices. Fromsweary T-shirts to incredible Miu Miu gowns, Corrin never plays it safe and always manages to inspire. We can't wait to see what's next.
