With Tango coloured crunchy leaves covering the ground and temperature around the country plummeting it’s safe to say we’re in the midst of autumn. If there is one silver lining to the fact that it starts getting dark around lunchtime surely it’s the reintroduction of knitwear and duvet coats into our wardrobes?

Though it's currently far too cold to leave the house without tights, it's also too warm to take on the tube or the bus without sweating more than publically polite. So here we are, stuck between dressing with more layers than puff pastry and continually taking off and putting on items. While under these circumstances it sounds impossible, we’ve found six fashion influencers who manage to look stylish during this season without blinking an eyelid. 4. Counting Sheep

Leggings get a lot of hate, but when worn with a hoodie and a shearling jacket like Gigi Hadid’s, how can anyone argue with that?

5. Cardi B

Cardigans are staging a comeback this season and this longline waffle knit is proof that they have powers to persuade even the most resolute of sweater lovers.

6. Cut The Cord

If you told us a year ago we’d be yearning for grandad trousers and newsboy hats we’d have had a hoot. But, then we hadn’t seen Gala Gonzalez wear this outfit yet…
