Dolce & Gabbana mixed things up in the casting department too, enlisting the help of next-gen YouTube stars, singers, designers and bloggers to model its glamourous AW17 collection during Milan Fashion Week (ranging in ages, ethnicities and sizes).
The Crown-effect reached its way onto the runway as British aristocrats (Lady Amelia Windsor and Princess Diana’s niece, Lady Kitty Spencer) made their catwalk debuts at D&G. And in keeping with the Italian label's focus on family (often casting mothers, toddlers, and young children) celebrity off-spring had their time in the spotlight – including Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne, 16-year-old Anais Gallagher and cool kids Gabriele Kane Day-Lewis (Damien Lewis’ son) and Rafferty Law (no description of parentage needed).
