Remember your childhood days when you were obsessed with one of the Disney princesses? No matter what type of kid you were, we all loved one of them. Whether you were an animal lover (Snow White), wannabe mermaid (Ariel) or just always wanted really long hair (Sleeping Beauty) you probably never quite got over it.
And once we got too old to dress up in our favourite princess outfits, it seemed the worldwide fascination was over. Move over, Disney, and move in, MTV. On the other hand, if you’re still secretly harbouring a Disney obsession, you can breathe a sigh of relief, because we’ve got some great news for you:
Apparently, you’re not alone. Enchanted Bikinis, the brand behind the new sets, lets you choose between six of your favourite princesses to fulfil all of your Disney related swimming dreams.
Although not officially sponsored merch, the bikinis look distinctly similar to the costumes used in the films of our youth (Arabian Nights? cough Jasmine) and there’s even accessories available if you’re wanting to go all out. A seashell phone case might not be the most appropriate tool if you’re off for a swim, but it’ll match perfectly if you’re sunbathing instead, right?
The company has already said they’re going to widen the choice of bikinis, and
for suggestions. Prices start at $35 for bottoms and $45 for tops, so while they’re a bit of a splurge, it’s a small price to pay to relive your Disney dreams…
