If you’re not following Delilah Belle Hamlin on Instagram, what exactly are you doing with your life? Daughter of Lisa Rinna and actor Harry Hamlin, it’s understandable that Delilah has garnered many a comparison to Gigi Hadid since signing with Elite Model Management in summer 2016. Not only is her mum a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills like Gigi’s mama, Yolanda Hadid, but she’s also blonde, beautiful and even has her own brunette sister counterpart. Amelia Gray is to Delilah Belle what Bella is to Gigi.
Plus, the girls actually know each other. Gigi even taught Delilah how to walk the runway ahead of her turn on the Dolce & Gabbana show during Milan Fashion Week – not a bad mentor at all. The 18-year-old’s model ambition also includes one key catwalk, with her telling Vogue, ‘It would be so cool to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’. Now, we all remember that video of Gigi’s successful casting, don’t we?
But that’s probably where the similarities end. While Gigi’s joined at the hip with Kendall Jenner, Delilah isn’t keeping up with the Kardashians, rather Kaia Gerber – they even went to senior prom together with their fellow classmates this past weekend. A quick scour (or hour-long stalk) of her Instagram shows her squad also includes BFF Ella Angel, singer-songwriter Charlotte Lawrence and beauty vlogger Olivia Jade.
And don’t expect to see any famous boyfriends popping up on Delilah Belle’s feed anytime soon: she’s been dating high school sweetheart Aidan Reilly since July 2014. A water polo player who’s set to attend Brown University post-summer, he and Delilah make one hot couple, and thankfully their chosen colleges mean they won’t be too far away from each other. #ProudMama Lisa Rinna recently took to Instagram to announce Delilah had gotten into her preferred school in New York, though she didn’t confirm which one, or indeed if Delilah will be accepting the offer.
It sounds to us like she will, though, with Delilah telling Teen Vogue last year, ‘I have no idea how I’m going to balance modelling and school, but my agency knows I’m still a student, and they really care about that. I don’t want to have expectations about my dream school, but LA or New York would be good because I like cities. I also want to maybe consider modelling or singing work in those cities.’ It seems dreams really do come true.
Whatever direction Delilah Belle takes, one thing is for sure: she’ll be at Coachella providing all of the FOMO this month, so you’ll probably want to follow her before that. Just don’t blame us if you find yourself 105 weeks deep in her feed with the biggest case of life envy since Mariah Carey’s episode of MTV Cribs.
