David Beckham is back on the road again and this time he’s heading for Las Vegas. Joined by comedian Kevin Hart, the pair are prepping to showcase I, Beckham: The Musical. Ah, if only that were a real thing.
In the hilarious clip launched to celebrate the new Modern Essentials collection at H&M, the oddly compatible twosome get up to mischief on the road. Cue a hilarious police chase and some rather questionable singing from Kevin.
It’s of course not the first time the pair have worked together as the new film continues their first journey together.
Turns out, it’s because David simply couldn’t wait to work with Kevin again as he revealed: “I loved shooting the first campaign with Kevin for H&M so much, we just had to do a sequel. This time we’ve pushed the story even further. I hope everyone likes it, we certainly enjoyed filming it.”
Kevin on the other hand had alternate reasons behind the second collaboration as he joked, “It’s great to have the opportunity once more to show the world what everyone really knows, that I am the true inspiration for David Beckham’s style. He copies everything from me.”
The Modern Essentials collection is now in its third season and this time features shearling lined jackets, crisp camel coloured shirts and turtlenecks guaranteed to get anyone excited for winter.
Andreas Löwenstam, H&M Head of Menswear Design, defined the collection as being for, ‘men who have great personal style, no matter where they find themselves’.
And rightfully so, as towards the end of the clip, David and Kevin discover that they don’t have a clue where they are.
But one thing is certain, we wouldn’t mind getting lost with David…
The autumn/winter ’16 collection is available in stores and online from the 29 September.
