Everyone needs a pair of Cuban heeled boots. Especially around the two-inch heel height. And especially in this weather. They lend a Miranda Kerr-meets-flamenco dancer vibe to every casual outfit.
But there are a lot of things you have to factor into the equation when looking for the perfect Cuban heeled ankle boot: it must be suede (leather looks creepy), the heel must not be too high – but enough to give your calves a boost – and they must be fitted around the ankle, preferably with a stretchy Chelsea-boot panel on the side, for a base note of equine excellence.
These tan ones, by Moss Copenhagen, are pretty much perfect. We recently discovered this Scandi line on a mini break to the city and have been since distressed that the high street chain hasn't popped up over here.
