Six years ago I got my helix pierced during one crazy weekend in Brighton. It hurt like hell and took a zillion years - no exaggeration - to heal. Once it finally calmed down, I was so accustomed to the metal surgical hoop it got pierced with that I never bothered to take it out. It’s only now, several aeons on, and after many scrolls of Instagram, that I have got a real yearning to sort this ear out. The only problem is, every helix-approps earring I like seems to cost the same as a deposit on a small London flat. Sorry, but I don’t want to wear my wallet on my ear, and I don’t believe I should have to. So, after much Googling and many slow-loading tabs, I have found nine interesting and affordable earrings that will jazz up your cartilage holes in a hot second.
