The 70s trend couldn't be more everywhere in fashion atm. It's as if the entire fashion world has climbed in to a time machine and have gone back to the time of free love and flared trousers. As nowhere gets the boho hippy vibe like those clever folk over at Free People we asked model and presenter Charlotte de Carle to head down their show room, and try some of it on for us, so you don't have to.
The Staple Shirt Dress
I love the floral print on this shirt dress, and because of the modern shape it doesn’t feel too girly. It’s really comfortable, and although quite summery it’s perfect for the transition from winter to spring. I‘m also a sucker for a button up collar.

LA Cool Bell Bottoms
These bell bottoms are so much fun, and totally take me back to the 90s. I wouldn’t wear them every day, but if I was in a party mood then why not! They have a cool LA vibe, hello Coachella wardrobe!
The Lazy Jumpsuit
I love this jumpsuit because it looks cool without having to put anything with it. And if you’re as lazy as me in the morning, this is a good thing! The fabric is nice and airy, and it’s a really flattering shape.
Flower Child Maxi
Evening pieces in black and gold always work. The print is boho, but still subtle. I like that the lining doesn’t go right to the bottom, as it keeps it really playful plus you can show off your shoes.
Dress, £248
The Grunge Mini Dress
I LOVE the batwing sleeves on this mini dress, they make me want to dance, immediately! The mix of colours is ace, and the print is pretty but quite grungy at the same time. Great for someone wanting to do the rocky hippy vibe... And sooo comfy.

The 70’s Throwback
I remember my mum wearing something like this in the seventies! I’m a massive fan of burgundy, so the colour combo is a winner in my eyes, and I like the low neckline - it's a bit cheeky! The fringed waistcoat breaks up the colours and the jacket toughens it up.
The EPIC Flare
I love that these are proper full commitment flares, I could literally shelter my dog from the rain in these babies! The jeans are a nice colour and it's really soft denim. The top is actually a mini dress but I like it as a tunic. I would 100% wear this outfit to an evening part of a festival.
