Karl Lagerfeld has previously transformed the Grand Palais in Paris into an ice palace, a couture supermarket and an underwater wonderland for his Couture shows - so where to next? For his Autumn Winter 2015 Haute extravaganza he invited guests to place their bets in his very own Chanel casino.
The gambling mecca featured personalised poker tables, fruit machines that hit the jackpot when you line up three double Cs and croupiers played by uber chisseled models like Baptiste Giabiconi.
Instead of lining a normal front row, the biggest names on the guestlist were asked to open the show by descending a gold staircase and pulling up to the gambling tables. Chanel faces including Kristen Stewart, her* Still Alice* co-star Julianne Moore and Rita Ora were joined by Lara Stone and Vanessa Paradis, and staking her claim as Karl's new muse, Vanessa and Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose Depp arrived arm-in-arm with fellow Lily, Collins.

The dresscode was strictly black tie, with the two Lilys looking thoroughly in-sync in LBDs and courts. Kristen wore a dreamily tailored velvet boucle jacket and matching straight-leg trousers in jet-black. While Julianne slinked her way to the table in a teal velvet gown with an asymmetric neckline accentuated by a fan-shaped diamond choker and Rita turned heads in ice-blue silk tailoring. Casino night has never looked so chic. We can safely hedge our bets that this was the show of Couture Week.
