Whaddya get when Urban Outfitters, the purveyors of all things millennial, collaborates with sportswear legends Champion? A collection of cosy sweats in unicorn colours, of course.
Working on the premise that athleisure isn’t going anywhere fast - there’s no way we’re giving up our fleecy hoodies anytime soon, at least - the two mega brands have created a limited edition range that celebrates the retro label. The pieces, which are priced between £55-65, includes hoodies, sweatshirts and joggers in pastel mint, cream, orange, turquoise, purple and yellow as well as grey and slate black with the iconic 'C' logo embroidery.
UO have enlisted rapper Princess Nokia, photographer Laurel Golio and Instagram star Camille Jansen to model the collection. As part of a wider project called ‘What Do You Champion’ the campaign stars have shared slogans about causes they care about. For instance, Princess Nokia has said, ‘I Champion Community’, and visual anthropologist Golio whose work highlights the marginalised voices of the LGBTQ community said, ‘I Champion Youth’.
Loungewear with a message is something we’re 100% here for.
