Who says fashion week isn't fun?

We can't work out if this is really meta or just modern media at its fashionable finest, but bear with us. Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld produced a typically fluffy Fendi collection today at Milan Fashion Week, which featured Cara walking down the catwalk toting a miniature Karl fur bot which filmed the Fendi catwalk. It was like Karl - albeit in teddy form - eye-balling the clothes he'd spend the previous months creating. Got it?

It's not the first time that the catwalk has been filmed live by the models as they sashsay their stuff. Topshop Unique were the first ever to do it via a Google + model cam, for SS13 in London this time last year (they're still doing it, too). We're not sure that the footage is that excellent - unless you've spent the past few years balancing a book on your head, then a model's walk will be pretty wibbly, at best - but the concept is pretty cool.

Especially from someone who looks as serious as The Kaiser, during the snazziest (read: most corporate) of all the fashion weeks, Milan. That said, it shows that despite Lagerfeld's pristine monochrome get-up, he clearly has quite a sense of humour. Not only has he created tech-forward stuffed selfies - he's also (inadvertently?) created a very cool toy for his already very pampered kitty, Choupette.

Aside from mini Karlitas on the catwalk, it was a surprisingly sombre collection from Fendi - a fashion house that has previously debuted multi-coloured fur mohicans on the catwalk and wild fur coats. There was a palette of black, navy and brown dresses, black and khaki zippered coats with gignatic fluffy hoods and little white lace up boots. (Very Dancing on Ice.)
