Candice Swanepoel Takes A Tumble On The Catwalk At New York Fashion Week

Candice Swanepoel did a Naomi on Friday night and took a tumble on the catwalk at the Givenchy Spring Summer 2016 show.

The Victoria's Secret angel fell to the floor as she walked the runway, but like a true pro she hopped back up (with the help of three people on the front row) and continued the lap of the venue.

Candice posted a picture of her grazed knees on Instagram with the caption: "Thank you to who ever picked me up off the runway tonight. Left with little scratches but mostly a bruised ego #ohwell."

The Givenchy show had (as expected) an unbeatable guestlist, with Kim Kardasian and Kanye West, Julia Roberts, Amanda Seyfried, Hailee Steinfeld, Nicki Minaj, Ciara, Liv Tyler and Steven Tyler, Jennifer Hudson, Debbie Harry and Uma Thurman all perched on the front row.

The show was held at sunset on the 14th anniversary of September 11th. In full view of Freedom Tower, Riccardo created an event centred around the concept of love. In place of show notes, on each seat was a letter from Marina Abramovic written to Riccardo Tisci on how the show marked September 11th.
