Fashion's quirkiest trend-maker, Jeremy Scott, has done it again. Not content with making fast food chic (we've lost count of how many french fry phone cases we've seen), this season it's all about Barbie. Jeremy's famed for his bright, in-your-face creations, so perhaps a collaboration with the most iconic doll of all time was inevitable. Who has more looks than Barbie? She's been everything from a socialite to an astronaut, so her Jeremy Scott makeover shouldn't come as a surprise.

The plastic fantastic show took place yesterday in Milan - editors were sent giant, mirror-shaped iPhone cases as invites to hint as to what was in store. The collection was Mattel through and through; we're talking wig-like hair, perfect shiny limbs and dramatic makeup. Plus, we're pretty sure we recognise some of the outfits from things our Barbies used to wear when we were younger. No word yet as to whether the collection will be recreated in miniature for the dolls.
But this isn't a collection you'll have to wait months for - all the clothes are already available to purchase on Moschino's website, and will also be on Stylebop.comas of Sunday. Stylebob.com's Fashion Director Leila Yavari said "With so much of what the fashion industry does playing out in real-time, it’s no surprise that we have the need for a little instant gratification.
