Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, has made her debut on the the cover of *Vanity Fair. *
The first portraits of Caitlyn were photographed by Annie Leibovitz in her Malibu home. In the beautiful cover image Caitlyn wears an ivory corset by LA based shop Trashy Lingerie, with the cover line: "Call Me Caitlyn."
In a behind-the-scenes video from on set, Caitlyn compared her Vanity Fair cover to winning an Olympic gold medal. Jenner said: "The last few days doing this shoot was about my life and who I am as a person. Not about the fan fare and people cheering in the stadium. It's not about going down the street and everyone going 'atta boy, Bruce' pat on the back."
"This is about your life. Bruce always had to tell a lie - he was always living that lie. Every day he always had a secret from morning until night - Caitlyn doesn't have any secrets. As soon as that Vanity Fair cover comes out I'm free."
Caitlyn wears five looks in the* Vanity Fair* cover shoot - in one image she wears red Donna Karan driving a Porsche and in another wears a black off-the-shoulder gown.
Inside the issue Jenner is interviewed by Friday Night Lights author Buzz Bissinger. Caitlyn tells Buzz: “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.’”
Shortly after the cover broke Caitlyn Jenner set up a Twitter account, with the following bio: "I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me."
Caitlyn broke Twitter records, becoming the fastest growing account ever - beating previous record-holder Obama. She reached 1 million followers in just four hours and three minutes.
