Burberry have just announced the launch of their newest ad campaign, featuring an exciting new member of the Burberry family.
Shot by renowned photographer Mario Testino, the campaign sees the return of Burberry favourites, model Edie Campbell and actor Callum Turner – best-known for E4's series Glue and more recently, BBC's War and Peace.
However, this season an exciting new third name has been added to the mix, Brit artist Luke Edward Hall. His sketches form the soul of creative, and include interpretations of Burberry's womenswear collections, like the world famous trench and The Patchwork bag (yes, the).
Speaking about the project, Luke said: 'When I first saw the collections, the variety of textures and jewel tones inspired me to get my paints out – I love colour and it was a joy to be able to experiment freely.
'I was lucky to be given free reign and to be one of the first to be able to interpret the iconic trench coat in my own way. As a British artist and designer, it’s been a pleasure to work with Burberry, a brand rooted in British heritage and Craft.'
'Luke is a great talent and it has been wonderful working and collaborating with him on our campaign,' Burberry's Chief Creative Christopher Bailey commented.
Mario Testino added: 'I love the human element of the drawings onto the photographs. In this digital world we are living, the softness and handmade feeling adds something intimate.'
Even more excitingly, there's a video showing highlights from the shoot.
