News from the ground at New York Fashion Week: bold, often primary coloured stripes are having a moment. It’s no surprise, really: after Celine sent a black midi polo dress with red, yellow, green and blue stripes down the runway for their SS14 show, there was an immediate re-brand of primary colours (less kiddy-friendly, more sophisticated confident woman.) Indeed, we’ve seen multiple people rocking that very hero piece, as well as boldly striped trousers, pleated skirts and shift dresses.
