Choosing your eyewear like you do your blusher is about to become reality thanks to Bobbi Brown. A new collaboration with the renowed make-up artist is sure to open your peepers to a new way to beautify your face.
Bobbi has joined forces with Italian brand Safilo to create a collection of sunglasses and optical frames, which will provide an instant beauty makeover – no mascara required - and considering she's is an excellent eyewearer herself, we know we're in good hands.
What's more, the range has been designed to mirror Bobbi’s gorgeous cosmetics line, with a mix of colours and styles so women can learn how to choose frames that flatter their skin tone and face shape.
Take the nude square-framed ‘Morgan’, which mimics blusher and brightens the face, while the cat-eye ‘Anna’ in burgundy red with grey lenses will emphasise a bold lip.
“I’ve always been aware of how glasses can transform the face and wanted to take the mystery out of how to choose the right glasses,” Bobbi explains.
Excited? You should be, not least because Bobbi is the first make-up artist to launch a signature line of eyewear, ever. It’s quite a coup considering she begun her empire in 1991 with just ten brown-based lipsticks. We’re sold.
The Bobbi Brown Eyewear collection, produced and distributed by Safilo Group, will be available from April 2015 exclusively at Liberty, followed by selected department stores and optical chains from May 2015.
